Moving Files in OSX

This took me a while to find. Being used to Windows I was accustomed to the "Cut and Paste" process to move a file from one place to another. All I could find was "Copy and Paste" on the Mac. This confused me. But I found that if you Copy then press Command Option V it will "Move" the file. This doesn't seem to make a lot of sense to me but is nice to have.  Figured if this was in more places online it will be that much easier to find.
